Wireless network connection status validating identity
The service is great, however the phone is not that great. Unfortunately, there's no real science behind this as Assurance no longer publishes what's compatible. So instead of paying for the dump to get rid of them, some genius mind had the idea: Why not give them away to the lower class citizens and control them... I received 2 texts last week that I will be upgraded to 1 GB next month. Time will tell if the phone lasts, but for now, it meets my needs.
I still recommend looking up the old pay Lo phones, finding a couple that they want, then calling Assurance to verify that it's compatible before purchasing. Is there a list of compatible phones with Assurance Wireless? The phone is not working properly and I miss important texts. Is it that the one you got was not compatible with their network (ex. Tried online to get it activated on my AW services. They have better phones so you can better enjoy your free phone, text and data plan!
With all the crap Assurance gives almost everyone, who can we complain to about them! It really is annoying how inconsistent they are with respect to what phones are compatible.
After 3 crap phones, I bought my own which was compatible. Kyocera Contact.... on clearance at the time from Kmart..- phone. And since they discontinued pay Lo, it has become even more ambiguous. We're talking about a phone that is already yesterday's trash.
I just lost my job of 22 years ON MY BIRTHDAY because I didn't return to work fast enough.
I am a senior citizen and have a lot of health issues and no one is going to hire me.

I'm not saying the person did, but they were the only person I have ever given my number to. Now I have been given a ZTE ANDROID (used), but cannot log in to my account because the account PIN or whatever it is has disappeared. Any ideas on where to find one of these phones for purchase? New customers often get special pricing, offers, or deals, whether it's for wireless, cable TV, Internet, or just about any other service you can think of. That's why I'm leaving Assurance Wireless and going to Access Wireless.
